The Bright Morning Star (BMS) is a star to be born in the form of an English speaking Christian television entertainment network for a broad, worldwide audience. The BMS headquarter will be based in the Gothenburg, Sweden, area.

Television with all its  technology combined with powerful programming skills holds an enormous opportunity that only to a very limited extent has yet been applied for propagation of the Gospel. The ambition of BMS is to attract a greater public, especially the unbelievers. Thus it is necessary to turn the main scope of programs from the present preaching/ teaching concept to concentrate on evangelization, even supported by the prophetic. The emphasis must be on a wide span of Christian “entertainment”, including musicals, biblical drama, soap opera, dialogs, fiction films and news, all while conveying the gospel in its power and glory.

Modern technology makes it possible to see TV programs not only from the sofa.  The young are on the run out there. We have to follow them, into schools, buses, streets, bars, beaches and so on.  Now it is also possible to activate the public and have them participate remotely in a network. They can use their smartphones (modern mobile phones), tablets / pads or computers, all with cameras, and connect to the studio via Internet.

The BMS is not ordinary TV. We will give opportunity for individual Christians and for Churches to serve the Lord. When someone calls the studio asking for healing or for other prayer, we should not pray for them via telephone. In stead we send out a team.  If the caller lives in say Örebro or Karlskrona, we do not send someone from Gothenburg. In stead we send them a team from nearby.

The BMS is not just preaching and witnessing. It is more like performing a drama in the street or in the studio.. Or we send a movie that we got from someone else or made ourselves.
